Default Friday the 13th

[*]Jack the Ripper- 13 letters[*]John Wayne Gacy- 13 letters[*]Charles Manson- 13 letters[*]Jeffrey Dahmer- 13 letters[*]Theodore ( Ted ) Bundy- 13 letters

friday was also the day that Christ was supposed to have been crucified. it was also believed to be a friday when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit. the last supper was held on a friday. friday after sunset begins the sabbath, thus relating to darkness. some claim that there was a 13th tribe of Israel that was made up of witches and sourcerers. 13 is also a very lucky number to the wiccan faith; there must be 13 members of a coven to cast a circle properly. a month that contains a friday the 13th must also contain a sunday the 1st and to some christians, beginning a month on the day God rested is already a bad omen.

Superstitions that's all.

Christ had 12 apostles and himself made 13 who changed the world and our eternal existance.

More like coincidences than superstitions, don't you think?

I had a great Friday the 13th, to me it was just another day. I've never given it a second thought. I am just really glad they are not making anymore of those silly Friday the 13th movies. , Too bad I can't say that for the Rocky Movies,, I heard today in the news that Sly was in Philly to make another one of those silly movies.. Maybe he will spar with a walker... The walker will probably knock him out.

I don't really know if anyone knows that for certain, but it would be nice to find out.

Some Christians believe that Christ died on a Friday because the next day after His crucifixion was a Sabbath. But this Sabbath was not a weekly Sabbath, it was an annual Sabbath. See Jewish Holy Days.
The problem with the "Friday burial hypothesis" is that the length of time from Friday evening to Sunday morning is not 72 hours (3 days and 3 nights); it is only 1 1/2 days.

There are not 3 full nights, but only one night -- Saturday--, and part of another night -- "Friday". There are not 3 full days, but only one day --Saturday; and we cannot count any daylight hours of Sunday because Yeshua/Jesus was already resurrected before daybreak of Sunday.
John 20:1"To the first of Sabbaths Mary Magdalene came to the memorial tomb early, while there was STILL DARKNESS, and she beheld the stone already taken away from the memorial tomb."
So we can not count any daylight hours of Sunday, and we cannot count any daylight hours of "Friday" either because Christ's burial FINISHED in the predawn hours of Nisan 15 -- the day after His crucifixion.
If you are wondering why the text says "First of Sabbaths" instead of "First day of the week," read both: Two Sabbaths and The Resurrection.

For us any day that is of Rest is a shabbat, which includes all the feasts(Holidays) some are consider as shabbatons such as Passover in which Christ died.

In order to consider what 3 days are ,you must understand Jewish way of telling a day , which is from sunset to sundown.

So if christ died before sundown friday and resurrected sunup sunday that is not 3 full days as the scriptures required, the sabbath that was coming up was not the regular sabbath of a saturday but rather the shabbaton of passover.
So Christ was arrested Wednesday night rightafter the first pre-meal of passover, this a meal celebrated as a private household meal, and it is not the passover meal, and then he was tried and convicted and crucified and died on thursday and his resurrection was probably right after sundown saturday or early sunday as teh scriptures say.
