Thanks for the welcome guys- I really appreciate it.
Well I'm a vet and disabled but not a disabled vet.Lol
I had orginally hurt myself at the age of 16 when I fell 20 feet out of a huge oak one night 'coon hunting-then when I was 21 I got hit broadside by a young man that fell asleep coming home from college. He hit me 60 mph or so right at my front door and broke my neck and seriously messed up my back. I was driving a 1960 chev and that hunk of iron saved my life.
Hit me so hard the motor was lying upside down under the hood, the backseat was in the trunk and the roof came to a point. They called it a miracle that I wasn't killed-didn't feel like a miracle just hurt a LOT..

Hmm-Then after I got older I went to Penn State and got a degree in Wildlife and then moved to Wyoming and attended Univ Of Wyoming for a semester until I had to have corrective surgery for my broken neck-16 yrs earlier.
Then -after I healed I moved to Montana with my family and attended the Univ Of Montana and got a degree in Forest Management with an emphasis on Entomology and Pathology. My third year I fell a lousy 8-10 feet working as a Forest Biologist and after all that I went through previously, this lousy little fall did me in-course I fell right on my neck and right shoulder-and that kinda fixed me.
Hmmm -grew up in a family that had 4 generations of musicians and I played in a band for 20 yrs.
Got real lucky and won the State Championship in the first ever Country Starsearch in Wyoming.. All of the State winners flew to Nashville and we all played a small part in a 2 hour tv special with Tammy Wynette, Jerry Reed, Mel Tillis, T.G.Shepard and Dennis Weaver was the Master of Ceremonies.
I finished my second album/tape/cd? just a few months ago--first one was a tape then this one is a cd and i have to go back into the studio and put my first tape on cd along with the other songs I couldn't get on this cd.
I love to hunt, flyfish, camp and write and sing...
My pain keeps me from doing anything more for any length of time but I thank my Lord for all that I can still do.
Whew-well you asked for it..
Thanks for the great welcome and I look forward to more of the same.
Take care:
Leep Out:
