Andrew has written his first letter from boot camp. Remember this is our son we had prayed for for hanging with the wrong crowd. After 2 weeks in boot camp he writes...
"The military is horrible but I can do all things through Christ which strenghthens me."
My wife and I are very proud of our son. PV2 Andrew. He is at an MP School in Fort Leonard wood Missouri 2 hours from Strut. WE plan to go to his graduation in May. Hey ...it took th earmy to get this ole boy on his knees. Like father , like son.
chuck he may hate it right now but i have never seen the armed services let anyone who desires to do good and right not succeed, my prayers are with you and your family. and when you go to missouri for graduation, dont forget your fishing poles, there is some great water in missouri...
take care buddy, keith

I bet that is one heck of a change in lifestlye for Andrew, and remember to tell him that he is welcome here at our home on any weekend passes that he might come up with. God Bless, and tell him thanks for serving his country.

Thank the Lord he never done 1/10th of the stuff his dad did. Neither one of my boys got the running from their dad but their academics far exceeds mine. Andrew worked side by side with his Missionary Alliance youth pastor for years. Missions is sown deep into his heart. His mom also home-schooled him every grade. I guessthe militarywas what he needed to revive his soul. Physical training has always been a trial for him. When he was born his skull was hard instead of soft. A missionary from WYCLIF fasted and prayed and his skull was made soft again so his brain good grow. In 10th grade he tested 3 rd year college so his brain is fine. I'll keep ya updated on Andy and send the first picture I get.
