We have had so much controversy lately. I know we are made up of various denominations and faiths. I know of one J.W. several Mormons, we had a few pagans visit "but couldn't stand the heat"... Some of the topics and responses are differnetandare a cause for controversy. I am sure you all have done this before, but for my own understanding could you please tell me what denomination you are.
I'll go first... I have deep, deep roots in Southen Baptist convention. I attended a Baptist college, and spent 10 years in the Southern Baptist Convention where I went to pastors conferences yearlywhere heard some great men of God speak. However as time went on, I developed a yearing for more charismatic worship, so I consider my self a Pente-Baptist.. Or non-denominational.. I have am president of Power of Faith ministries founded in 1981, we share the gospel of Jesus Christ via the internet, and in the prisons of Texas. We are planning shortly to work with the troubled youths in the urban area,Texas pardons and parole administration is working withme on this. So pretty much, I am a Baptist that may be considered a holy roller . Amen...
I am honestly a Christian ..I belong to no set denonmination. I do attend and work at a Methodist Church
I had attended Methodist as a child . In seeking I went through The Church of Christ and Southern Baptist.
My most serious nurturing was done by Pentecostals.I spent 6 years at an Assembly of God College getting degrees in
Bible , Music and Education
My wife and I worked in the AG for about 5 years.
We worked in the Methodist for about 5 years
And heavily into evangelism with Missions churches for 3 years including Nazerine.
Currently we are working with children in the neighborhood Methodist church.
I'm a Christian .
And with all that said, apart from Christ Jesus I am nothing.
I am Pagan. I have no problem with heat, but I do have a life and two jobs so I don't have as much time as I would like to be able to converse on the internet with you fine upstanding folks.
I am Assembly of God. Have been since 9 months before I was born, and still am to this day...21 years later.

I am getting ready to join a non denom. Its more like a good ole baptist church witha pulse. A strictly bible church. Getting away from more tradition. And focus's more on making deciples. I am pleased.
