Prayer request
I posted this down here instead of up top to be sure that it is not missed. I would like to ask all my Bro. and Sisters in Christ to keep a small West Texas town in your prayers. A small town about 1 hour from me has burned down. Over 100 + houses were completely lost along with many lively-hoods, farms, and buisnesses. Im not sure if it has made national news, but the little town is Cross Plains. It is not far from Abilene Texas. It has given me a very heavy heart.

I sure will brother, I just came from my lake house at Possum Kingdom, Palo Pinto Co. every thing is so dry. Kind of a scary feeling leaving there today, knowing one cigarette can destroy it all. We need to keep Texas and Oklahoma in our prayers.
You got in burnie, it must be really dry down there because we are geeting red dirt all over our cars here and the say it is comming from Texas.

Yep, bout as dry as it can get. We are in very strick burn bans. Last weekend I was driving to Dallas to see theCotton Bowl, and all the way there were fires everwhere. North West Texas is one spark from becoming a powder keg.

Burnie, next time you come to the metroplex, PM me and let me know your coming, I would really like to meet you, I'll let you buy an old man a cup of coffee.
Well Burni i cant pray as your brother in Christ - but i will pray just the same.
If we didnt get all this snow here we would be much like you- things ussally only catch fire here in the summer mths.
