Default Some alarming statistics...

Not sure how credible this site is...but it caught my attention.

Top Twenty Religions in the United States, 2001
(self-identification, ARIS)

From 1990-2001 look how little Christianity grew compared to the other religions or other non-religions.

We must try harder to spread the message of Christ, not only abroad, but especially right here at home. We are a lost and dying nation.

What does Secular mean? Does that mean without God or religion or spiritual?Just curious,On a one dollar bill it says"NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM"
doesSECLORUM mean the same? I can't find the meaning in a reliable source for this word. I seen it was the second in line from religions in america and was curious about it.

Secularism is basically anythingthat is exclusive of any religious influences. Novus ord o seclorum means a new order of the ages literally in Latin.

Everytime I try to tell someone about God they make fun of me. LOL then when they ask me questions, I am not really knowledgable about the Bible so I am unprepared and therefore makes me look like an idiot and therefore makes Christianity looks fake. SO I just stopped trying.

Utmstudent, a good warrior is prepared, his sword (the word) is sharp. You're right not to tell others if you can't show them in the Bible... But the best way to show others is through action. Remember, "Witness always, if necessary use words."

Anyone can talk the talk, but it takes commitment to walk the walk. I quit many things in life, not because I thought they were a sin, but I knew in my heart they were not a good witness unto the Lord. When ever you start to witness to others, others will watch you very closely waiting for you to mess up, this way they can say your not real, or your a hypocrite. "Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might (Eph. 6:10)

Well, while you're not all that knowledgeable about the Bible...let them see the change in your life that Christ has done. Then they will know that you have found something genuine, and not fake.

Continue to learn and dive into the Word. Make it known to yourself. Take it slowly, chapters at a time. Study what you're reading, meditate on it, memorize it. Then, someday when a question is asked, you'll know the answer.

Never quit evangelizing...Here's what the Bible says about it...

1 Peter 3:14-16 (NASB)

"But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed, and do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled,

but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence;

and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame."
