Default Praise Report

I just want to give a praise to God for sparing my son tonight. I just came back from picking him up from wrecking my truck. He went around a curve too fast and lost control and wrapped a pine tree. Theres been tell tale signs for a few weeks that it was going to happen but trying to get him to listen is something else. First he came in a few weeks ago with the bumper tore off, and before that he got a ticket for reckless driving. Last week the headlight was smashed and today he put me out of my misery by just totaling the whole thing. I'm grateful no one else was involved and I still have my son. Thank you Lord for sparing my son and the hard lessons that we learn.

Mac--that mirror's my middle son. He too had several fender benders until he was concentrating more on his girlfriend than the traffic light he said was green! That was a few months ago. No one was hurt, but my 2000 Blazer was totalled. I had just spent $1000 TWO DAYS EARLIER on some upgrades and improvements since we were planning on it lasting for quite a few more years. That was a waste!

I understand completely and I'm glad he's alright.

Thanks guys, Yes I have raised a couple of boys and a girl and they have all done a number on my insurance rates and checkbook. I'm just glad that they have all survived the perils of their beggining driving experiances. I worry about this boy especially everytime he goes out but I have put it in Gods hands. A couple of yrs ago we lost a really close niece in a driving accident.
Besides my sons life being spared the upside of all of this is that I bought an even better truck today . . .the downside to it is that I'm going to turn it over to the little peckerwood tomorrow[&:].

thats my boy Dave . . .I've never seen a boys brain so totally shut down like this one does around a girl. I told liz just the other day that there was no way he could be with a girl and reserve enough mental awareness to drive. I would ground him but he'll soon be 20. What to do????He's trying to get a start in life and needs to drive back and forth to work and school . . .then he meets girls and as result keeps his perilous little self on the road.

I can totally relate with you there Mac--I have a 20 year old hard head myself. The Lord has given him so many indidcations that He is on his trail--I just hope he will respond before the heat gets hotter, and it takes even more drastic measures. I know that these close calls are His warning shots of mercy fired across the bow.I'll pray for you as well as thank Him for His mercies extended your way.
