Abe I spent a lot of years as a professional musician playing blues and Jazz mostly. I just recently got rid of the last of my equipment because it was just collecting dust.
I listen to Christian Music only, and we have a piano at home, I play only christian music.. I am so glad the Bible says, " Make a joyful noise" because that's what my piano playing sounds like. .
Secular music has no meaning anymore.. To me it's just people praising the works of their own hands.

Good question.....

Mostly Chrisitian but I have to confess....

In my truck CD player I have a best hits by John Denver.I like Rocky Mountain High.

All the rest is Christian. I also play bluegrass on my guitar but mostly hymns and gospel. I play bluegrass for the finger exercise.

Liz is the big one on music here and she only listens to christian music. I do have a liking for the Native American flutists and I listen to that pretty often. I just don't like vocals and prefer only instrumental music. Of course in church I like the singing . . .also in the shower.

If I'm listening to music, it's usually Christian. Most of the time I'm listening to preaching cd's or talk radio (Mike Gallagher, Bill Oreilly) but every now and then I throw in a Jimi Hendrix song or something along those lines. Can't get myself to dispose of all my old secular cd's. Don't think I want to either. But maybe I should?

Every good and perfect gift comes from above, and if there is any virtue, any priase---think on these things. All Christian music isn't good, and all 'secular ' music isn't bad--listen to the content and intent. Just my opinion tho

Mostly christian for me also, but do listen to other music on occasion. I do like country music and there is quite a bit of country music that mentions the Lord.

I love the old hymns and Christmas Carols, I do listen mainly to Country Western for the most part, there are so many songs that either simply have a good message or a religous theme, there are a few though that when they start to play I simple switch to another CW station.

I'm a country music fan. That's what I listen to 90% of the time.
