the end of the world

With all the post talking about the end of the world. I have a few questions about the end. When is it going to happen, only God knows that. Is there some where in the bible that says whats going to happen. Am I going to be driving down the road one day. This huge flash of light happens the world is gone. I dont know is there going to be signs. Great wars, alot of life loss to a horrible disease, ect.

Due to quantum mechanical aspects of nuclear fusion from hydrogen to helium the sun is growing constantly more luminous. It is about 25% more luminous now than when it formed 5 billion years ago. In about 1 billion years from now the increasing luminonsity of the sun will overwhelm the the capacity for compensatory changes that keeps the Earth's temperature relatively stable. At that time the surface temperature of the Earth will be so high that the oceans will boil off. I think for all practical purposes that could be considered the end of the world.
