Default Who do you think the 2 witness's are?

During Church today, we went over Rev. 11. We have been going over rev. one chapter a time for months now. Anyway, our pastor has really opened my eyes to parallels that didn't occur to me or I saw was insignificant.

He was preaching that he believes they are Moses and Elija. Came up with some pretty convincing parrallels.

Last week he was going over Rev. 10 and believes the mighty Angel is Jesus our Lord. Again opened my eyes to a new way of why and thinking.

One can look at the two witnesses of Revelation 11 as being allusions to the rapture in that Moses represents the "dead in Christ" who will be resurrected, and Elijah refers to those "who remain" alive until the time of the rapture.

Never studied it, but do recall it. Don't know if the term "mantle" is used widely but...just as Stevens mantle (gentiles) was passed to Saul/Paul and Elijah to Elishah I think these may be men who have Mose's and Elijah's mantle..or may be Mo and Eli themselves (thought I'd add some lightheartedness) Idunno...I guess I'm off to do some Sunday afternoon reading "I'll be back"

Enoch and Eliyahu, the only two raptured alive.

They will taste death and the resurrection in the end days.

Moses and Elijah..
Might i remind you that at the Rapture of the chuch a great number will go to heaven without dying..At the mount of transfiguration it was Elijah and Moses who appeared with Jesus and Peter, James and John..Moses had a lot to do with Isreal. He was the one God gave the law to. He is the only man God personally came down to earth to supervise his funeral..I believe that other evidence proves that it is moses instead of Enoch that will be one of the winesses..
I don't think that there is any question in anybodies mind that Elijah is the other witness..
