They got us on the ropes with Christmas

The ACLU and all the rest seem to have us Christmas supporters on the ropes. In the last 5 years alone we have lost so much ground. Very depressing.

I just look back and can't believe this is the Good ole USA.

I have to count myself lucky to live in Fredericksburg, we still have Nativity scenes every where and Christmas still lives in our public schools.

Let's face it, there is a real hard push being made to stop the worship of God any where, time, form, or fashion. Here in Idaho, a ten commandments monument had to be removed from Julia Davis Park in Boise last year. It was moved onto private property but it isn't as visible there. A bill is being introduced this year to amend our state constitution to allow the people to vote on wheather or not a monument can be placed on public property. If it is passed I am sure there will be numerous court appeals and legal challenges for years.

The ACLU has long been an enemy of Christians, Conseratives, and I believe the United States. They are more worried about the rights of gays, prisoners, pow terrorist, etc. They are a wierd breed of liberals with Hollywood being their voice. It is time we did something about our rights. Everyday they are being taken away one by one, if they continue at this pace we won't even have the right to have Christian radio. They are working on that this very minute.

It's time to take it back by force if necessary, Are we just to sit by and watch it all be taken away?

Amen Reb... I make it a point to say it alot this season, even when I hear someone say, Happy Holiday, I will say without Jesus, we would not be celebrating at all... it would just be Happy New Year..

Personaly I think the ACLU is shooting it's self in the foot by attacking the Christian faith as they have.

I see a time when there will be a backlash against appointments of judges to the bench, like the judge that agreed with the firing of the teacher for simply wearing a cross lapel pin.

The courts ruled that it was okay to wear the small cap that Jewish people wear or to have a Islamicstar and cresent lapel pin... but wearingthe cross lapel pin crossed the, seperation of church and state, line.

The folks at PETA had support from a lot of people that they don't have now. The more absurd PETA has became, the more the American people have moved away from them.
PETA is seen as a joke by a large number of people now.

I see the samething begining to happen to the ACLU.

We aren't on the ropes with Christmas.
We are just wittnessing the begining of the end for a lot of respect the ACLU has/had.
