Default Not the right forum for this..but..

I started a thread on the cooking forum about a deal Cabela's has on a electric meat-grinder, I figured I am not the only here that cuts up his own game meat, so I thought I would post a heads-up here in case anyone was looking for a good grinder that is on sell. The details are on the cooking forum.

Taz or LBR I hope you twodon't mind me posting this here. Normaly I wouldn't post about a meat grinder on this forum, but with Christmas so close I wanted to give you all the heads-up on it.
I would like to leave this post here for tommorow, that should be long enough for everyone who might be intrested to see it. I will delete the thread tommorow afternoon, or if one of you don't mind you could delete it for me then, I have never deleted a thread before so I might have a bit of trouble doing it.

Thanks
Mr-Pirk

Mr. Pirk,
I appreciate that. I know Strut is in the market for one. I picked one up at a yard sale that works wonders. Made some great hamburger steaks.
Since he is a firearms dealer he gets most sporting goods at wholesale prices. Amother handy item is the vacumn sealer. Keeps meat for years.

Pirk I am so upset by this post I can not see straight!!![:@][:@][:@]

Actually an occasional post like this with a reasonable explanation is no problem. Glad you brought it to my attention. The deer I killed at Bro. Renfrows I had processed there, first deer I have ever had processed in my life. I am hoping to get at least 1 more this year after I get my truck back ina couple of weeks, sadly I will have to use my old hand crank grinder to make any sausage, wrecking my truck is putting a big dent in the pocket book for this holiday season. I have already directed my wife and kids to not spend a dime on me for Christmas gifts due to this, maybe next year I will be able to see it clear to buy an electric grinder.

Taz, if you do get one be sure it is a heavy duty , preferably a commercial grinder..these small ones you get at department stores get clogged up way to often and you have to stop and clean out the grinding head..I have one of the smaller ones that i use here at home but have a commercil grinder at the hunting camp and it was well worth the extra dollors for the job it does..
