Default Some need to watch themselves

Friends,

As I travel the other forums here it seems some are Christian here and not so Christian on other forums. This ought not so to be, I'm not going to list any names but it doesn't do the cause of Christ any good at all ;not to mention your name and testimony.

James 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

3:11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?

chuck i see it also, but i got to think some of these people may be where i was at only a few short months ago, torn between right and wrong, i may even be guilty, on the thread about displayin deer in public view i typed up a looong reply and never posted it, i read and re-readmy reply and decided it was not in the best intrest and served no real good purpose[&o], so i just didn't post it, i have also been drawn into other heated debates, that i wish had never happened, we just try to do the best we can, hope and pray that the people that are straddeling the fence fall on the right side, i realize there are a few i really get excited for and then read some of they're other post and it just makes me scratch my nogin, like i mentioned i hope they continue to visit here, and will see the light, especially some of the younger people that are struggleing, there is a easier and more peaceful way to life, but in all fairness i was young once and very hard-headed, boy what i wouldn't do to have some of that time and those choices to re-do, there is only one direction for me now though, and that is up...

God bless you chuck, keith

p.s. if you not happy with that book i'll by it from you, i really think it is good for a young to religion person, your wife was right on, it is the basics, but it is a great refresher course, and great for a new Christian, when you finish pass it on to one of the youth in your area, let either of your boys read it, whelp, got to go, i have somewhere i need to be in a few.....

I agree chuck. I see one in particular, that I am shocked at and pray he realizes the wrongs he does. But then I keep coming back to pulling that 6X6 out of my eye, but found an entire tree. Still working on that. So until I get that tree out, I will let him do his thing.

Chuck,
I know exactly what you feel, I wanted to call one particular person out on it, then had to think real hard on my motives. What good would it do that person or the Kingdom? It may humiliate that person to where he maynot come to this site any more. I guess sometimes it's just not our place to say anything. We should pray for that person out of love. But, it bothered me too when I read some of the things posted. Be sure your sins will find you out! You have a good heart Chuck. I can see that about you. Let's just pray for him!!

Abe,
I tell ya what my friend. And I don't say my friend facetiously...I mean it.
This is me. Here lately I've bee just kind of hanging on. Lately by the grace of God the Lord has been taking that beam out. There comes a time when men in the Christian circle must speak up. Now if I was in the flesh I would have mentioned names and had malice. However ; the fact is when you get your life in line with Christ you are going to start calling an ace an ace. You no longer are going to sit back and hope for the best you are going to speak up . And believe me I don't like it but I must not quench His Spirit. When I since it's time to speak I will speak. Sin causes us to overlook to much .

Isaiah 58:1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

Chuck, I hear ya man. I do. But, when that guy reads this post, he will know who we speak of. However, this will not bring a revelation to him that he has been speaking out of both sides of his mouth. He already knows that! It is Christ who will make him feel convicted about it, not us. Now as for standing up for what's right, if it affects us as a group, a family or society, we need to call an ace an ace.But this guy posting on 2 sites hypocritically is not going to cause me to go up in arms. If I were a close friend to him, I would hold him accountable. We don't know him from Adam, and don't know that he is saved. I personally will take this matter to the cross. Chuck, trust me, the last thing I want is to debate or argue anything with you. I want to grow further with you and others on this site. You have lots of wisdom, I can tell, and I have much respect for you. This is simply my honest opinion on this matter.

No problem Abe...This is one of those situations where I wish we were sitting some place and having lunch together. I'm not to good in expressing myself by the keyboard.
Love ya man.

HA!, I'm not going to mention names, butI give you three quesses and the first two don't count!
Since I am the one from here that really is offened by his statements about Rednecks, I quess it's me!

Chuck,I'm a God fearing man and will take it on the other cheek, but after that I will give anyone a knuckle sandwich in the Lords name! I believe in God, but I don't walk around with my head down as many christians do!
