RE: The Father in Heaven
To father is defined as 1. to sire, 2. To cause to have life. The Father is the one that is the sire or life giver. The Bible says that the Holy Ghost overshadowed Mary and she conceived and brought forth a son. Luke 1:35 The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the son of God. The bible is true, The holy Ghost caused life to be formed in the womb of Mary. The Holy Ghost sired the holy thing that was born of her. That holy thing was named Jesus and was called the son of God. Did Jesus have two fathers? Is the Holy Ghost and Jehovah one and the same? Jesus said that "I come in my Father's name and you received me not, if another comes in his own name, him ye will receive", John 5:43 A son receives his name by inheritance, Heb 1:4, from his father. The Father in heaven has a name, Matt 6:9 , Prov. 30:4 what is his name, and what is his son's name if thou canst tell? What is the name of which the whole family in heaven and earth is named? Eph 3:15. What is the name that is above every name? Phil. 2:10 What is the only name in which there is salvation? Acts 4:12 It is the name that the Son inherited from his Heavenly Father, the "family" name.
