Default need prayer badly

Brothers, I come to you now extremely angry and dissapointed. I have been hurt badly by someone who I very deeply cared for. When I found out about what they had done with someone else, it made me so sick that I threw up. I am greatly struggling with anger directed at these two people, and it is only by the grace of God that I have not hurt anyone over what has happened.

Please say a prayer that I can continue to hold my tongue and my rage, and also a prayer so that I can stop thinking about this. I can't get it out of my mind, I only slept 2 hours last night. If you need specific details for your prayerslet me know.

Jack

Jackalope, the Lord is showing you now whatwas going to happen in the future. It's the Lords will to show you!
Pray about it and life goes on my friend. She will hurt you now and forever, forgive and forget!

An Eye for an Eye
38"You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.'[g] 39But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. 41If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. 42Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.
Love for Enemies
43"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor[h] and hate your enemy.' 44But I tell you: Love your enemies[i] and pray for those who persecute you, 45that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Excellent advice, but I don't know if I can do it. I've only felt this angry one time before in my entire life.

Dear Jack,
I'm only saying that because I'm dealing with a situation at school. The Lord reminded me today through His Spirit and Word..He causes the wicked and the righteous to be blesed everyday. We can not be partial in our blessings. Let us move on to perfection...loving as God loves.

The one thing I would say to keep in mind is that we should always remember what we have been forgiven, when we are confronted with such gut wrenching betrayals. I am very sorry for your troubled time, and I don't pretend to or want to imply that I am trivializing it or minimizing it. All I do know is that the most God like thing to do is to forgive, and in light of my own forgiveness from God--there's nothing that I can hold against anyone. The Lord's prayer even instructs us to ask Him to forgive us as we have forgiven others--and on that basis, I ask you to pray for them ,and their forgiveness, and to ask God to give you the grace to do so. He will supply it if He requires it of you. I will pray also.

Battles like these are won in the prayer closet. Amen Greg. Jesus won that battle in the garden. Sweating drops of blood. Thank you Jesus for taking our guilt and shame.

Ephesians 4:26 " Be angry, and do not sin." Do not let the sun go down on your wrath.

You have felt a normal emotion, who wouldn't be hurt when wronged. Your feeling are normal feelings of emotion God given emotions. The Bible does not say we should not be angry, however what you do with that anger can hurt you more than the people you are angry at.
Prolonged anger will hurt you physically and emotionally. Get mad, then let it go. Let God do His thing. God will intervene when we butt out of the situation.
It's real easy being an arm chair quarter back in this situation. But everyone here is just trying to enourage you and give you good Godly wisdom.
I will certainly keep you up in prayer.
