Default Something interesting.....

There is a good article today in The Jerusalem Post. It was titled "Stop attacking our friends". You can read it on the website. A lot of truth to the article.

I've never been to that site before . .thanks. Interesting article, I picked up on a couple of things I didn't realize, no need going in to it tho. I did like:

Quote:
And, contrary to what is frequently alleged, the attitude toward Israel of the vast majority of evangelicals is not related to ulterior motives such as a desire to convert Jews, or in order to hasten the Christ's return as the messiah. Most act unconditionally out of genuine love for those whom they consider to be God's chosen people.
I agree that this is true and the way it should be. That is not to say that I feel that we should not want to see the Jew accept Christ, but simply because we should feel some allegiance to to these folk who were God's chosen people thruout the OT and we were grafted into being a chosen people in the New.

I read one similar, or maybe the same one a while back. It shows that they are observant and receptive of our genuine love when it is shown---and they will know you're my disciples by your love for one another--I have a lot of Jewish clients and have done work for a synagogue in Atlanta. I always feel priviledges and compassion at the same time when dealing with them.I want to say how appreciative I am of their heritage and history, which is the forerunner of Christianity, although they don't recognize it.
