I have a dumb question

I recall seeing it posted on this forum in the past that in Heaven man will become Angels. I have been wondering about any verses concerning that.

In Heaven do men become Angels?

Since you've titled the thread "a dumb question" I'll feel free to give my "dumb answer". I recall two things on this subject in the Bible. 1. It says we'll become like angels not giving ourselve in marriage. 2. (and the reason I would "no" to your question) In Hebrews Paul/Apollos/Whoever draws out that we are the highest order of creation, above the angels even. They are servants. It wouldn't make much sense to me (perhaps I should say it doesn't "sound like God") to go to such great length to reunite with his creation just so he can "demote" them once we are there.

nope. we will be like we are now except we will be perfect..Yes, dear friend, we will have a body in heaven-
II Corinthians 5:1 " For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." Here He is talking about our earthly body, and our heavenly body. When we die, our earthly body will be buried. If we are saved, our soul and spirit will go immediately to be with the Lord. When Jesus comes at the rapture, I Thess. 4:16 says, "The dead in Christ shall rise (come out of the grave) and meet Jesus in the air, then we will receive our new body, a perfect body, and will live with our Lord forever. Amen!!! Job says in Job 19:26 "And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God."
