Got these alarming statistics today in one of my classes. Not sure where he got em from, but they're probably from a reliable source, and surely not made up.
91% of people admit to lying regularly at home or work
86% admit regularly lying to parents
75% admit regularly lying to friends (3 out of your 4 closestfriends probably lie to you on a regular basis)
For 10 million dollars:
Around the 70% range of people would abandon their families.
About 23% would become prostitutes for a week.
7% would kill a stranger.
Next time you're at a concert or someplace with 1000 people, remember that if someone made the dollar number high enough, 70 of those people would walk up and kill you for no other reason.
And we wonder why we're in a world of hurt as a nation...

I believe those numbers may be on the conservative side. You also didn't mention abortion, suicide, those that do not believe in God, those that seal from steal from their jobs. We have certainly lost our integrity. Last night on Larry King Hugh Heffner was on with his three live in girl friends who the oldest is 25 and he is 80, talking about morals. Imagine the world taking lessons on morality from Hugh Heffner. One phrase one of the girls said was " If we are happy doing this, why can't people be happy for us?" I was repulsed, however my wife had control of the remote, I wanted to change the station. She kept watching because she couldn't believe the people calling in and commending them on "immoral acts". The world is now worshipping any thing against God,,, Could it be time for the Anti-Christ? I think he is near!

Well I wonder the size of the group was the demographics and how the questions were worded.

Amen...all depends on where ya live at. In Missouri in the Ozarks they do not have these problems. Here in Lakeland we do but not nearly as bad as Miami. So demonographics is alot of it. Hey ...let's all move to the country.

I'm sure that the group surveyed was of non-professing Christians. He said he'd give us the stats on "Christian" believers later, but that they are almost identical in every sense.
The second question was "Whatextent would you go tofor $10,000,000?"
Tomorrow in class I'll ask him where the stats are from and get back to yall.
