I've heard it said that if you don't believe in God you can't get into heaven. So the big question is if you don't believe in Satan can you go to hell??
It's not a double standard. I'm trying to come up with an anology that makes sense. Maybe this will help.
Say you are lost, and are given directions to get where you need to go. If you don't believe the directions, you won't get where you need to be, andyou will still be lost.
Or, have you ever told a child "don't touch, or you will get hurt"? Does it make a difference if they believe you or not--will it not hurt if they ignore you? Or heard of someone who refused to believe the doctor when they were told they had an illness? Does their disbelief mean they aren't sick?
I'm having a hard time coming up with something better, but hopefully this makes sense.

Satan has nothing to do with it. Salvation is by......

Handles...Do you believe enough to confess Him as your Lord and Savior? Do you feel His Spirit drawing you to surrender yur life over to Him. Then don't hold back. Salvation is only through Jesus. You will find all kinds of arguement on this forum But one thing we have in common ...we all have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ to be our Savior and have trusted in His sacrifice on the cross to take care of our sins. AS far as doctrine....my friend the New Testament is written on a 5th grade decoding level. If you will read it through and pray for God to give you understanding you will never be the same. I wouldn't trust anyone's religion on here. Know from first hand experience by ..... John8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Handles your Salvation is believed on in the heart. For the heart is the center of our being. Either the heart is wicked and will produce wickedness or you can be born again unto holiness. The Lord will cause you to grow. YOu can't do nothing apart from Him.You must be Born Again.
Step One ....Read your New Testament and ask God for understanding. I believe He will honor that first step.

PS The Word will reveal who Jesus is and who your enemy is. The Word is a light to shine the way for you.
Matthew 10:22, 24:13, Mark 13:13--those that endure to the end shall be saved
Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, he that does not believe shall be condemned (I think this is the specific verse Handles is referring to)
Acts 2:38 Repent and be baptized for the remission of sins (one cannot be saved without remission of sin)
I Peter 3:20,21
Just calling on Christ will not save you--Matthew 7:21--obedience is required.
Handles, if you are sincerely interested, there is lots more information to be had. The Bible is the one and only true source, but a lot of opinions and some guidance can be offered here.
