This is not really the forum for this. why am I not school material. The other day a had a chemistry exam. I study for hours went though old exams the prof had handed out. You know what I got on that exam a 60%. Thats a low "D". I felt I knew the material. This is not the only exam I have had troubles with. Though out my whole school career I have not been the best student. I am trying why cant I do better. Most of my school career I have mainly gotten B,C,D. Now that I am in college I have failed one class. It really makes me mad. Makes me think I am stupid or something.

You're not stupid DH. Everyone has their place and there giftedness. I have mine and I am better at being me than anyone else! You have yours and no one can replace you. When you find your giftedness, and your areas of competence, you'll excel and be the bets at that area that you can be--it will come to you naturally, because it is in keeping with how the Lord made you. Not everyone is cut out for school, so don't let that be an issue--it doesn't determine who you are, just what you do--and what you do will flow out of who you are--according to the gifts that He has given you. Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find--knock and the door will be opened---persistent seeking will result in your knowing God's perfect place according to His will for you.

Schooling is not for everyone. In mid 1850's Thomas Edison was kicked out of school because teachers considered him a failure. His mother decided to home school him. He then attended college for only three months in Port Huron Michigan. But you know the rest of the story. You must decidewhy you are in school and what you are trying to get out of school.

Derr Hunter 1224 your post has left me with a question or two.
The questions you missed, did you know the material? Did you know the answers and just didn't understand the question orhow it was asked?
In other-words, why didn't you do better on the test, was it the subject matter, the way the test was formatted, your reading skills, your knowledge of the subject?
Deer Hunter in your opinion, why do you think you didn't do better on the test? Not general ideas, but spicific answers.
Answer those questions and it will lead to the correct direction for doing better.
