Hi Wayne,
After reading the warnings about gar roe I ....threw the gar away. At my age I don't like taking lot's of risk. Presently I got the hot oil going on and plan to batter fry some specks up and one catfish for my son.

Yeah I did some research and I had a little doubt so I tossed them. Also ..when I cleaned it there were quite a few worms.
