Bro Taz's story inspired me to share this with youof how God is in control of everything. In 1981 I founded Power of Faith Ministries. I was trying to raise money for food and clothing for needy families. I would sit at my desk after work and write letters to as many churches as possible. Sometimes I would get together large garage sales from clothes donations to raise money. One day I was working at my desk and my wife came in and said " We don't have any meat for dinner." I was trying to finish up a job so I could get paid, but it was several days away from completition. She told me that she had plenty of vegetables, but no meat. I felt bad enough as it was that I couldn't just go and get in my truck and buy some.I looked at her and said, " If God wants us to have meat He will bring us some meat!" I know it was very harsh and sarcastic, and she gave me one of those looks that only a wife can give. She walked out, and several moments she returned and informed me we still had no meat.... I don't know what she wanted me to do, maybe go an pawn something. Anyway she wanted me to go and bring home some meat... Again, I told her if God wanted us to have meat, He would bring us some. She finally got the message and said she was going to make some beans and friedpotatoes for dinner... I was really glad to hear she would now leave me alone so I could finish my letters. A few minutes passed by and the door bell rang, it was Jimmy Miller, a friendfrom our church. He walked in and said, " I don't know if you need any meat, but I was sitting watching T.V. and God said to me take the Jankowski's some meat. I have a freezer full of meat, could you guys use 25 pounds of beef?" I looked at my wife with tears in my eyes, we both cried and thanked God. From that day on, I say, if God wants me to have this He will bring it. TRUE STORY. Bob <><
