"Better" Rewards?
I think it was Reb that made mention of different rewards in heaven on another thread. I looked at most of the scriptures he gave, and of the ones I looked at it would take a bit of "interpretation" for them to prove that anyone will get a better spot than another.
In Matthew chapter 20 (1-16), Christ gives what we refer to as the parable of the workers. I may be wrong in this assumption, but I believe that Christ is telling us that regardless if you serve Him all your life, or if you just make it to Him in the last hour of your life, we will all get the same reward. If you don't see it that way, what do you think He is saying there?
I'm not going to argue the point, it's just something that had me thinking. The "lowest"position in heaven is still way better than the alternative, and way more than any of us will ever deserve.
