Sylvan a very good buck, a buck of a lifetime I would say. Tell who ever got it congrats from me, I am sure they are very proud of it.

Great deer Sylvan--it looks similar to one I saw lat year--in front of 2 labs! It only had 1 drop tine though. Thanks!

You're right Reb. Heres a hind view showing clearly how little hidethere is. I can't believe how foolish the fellow was who did this. To do a proper mount now will require another cape imo. Some friends of mine and I were talking and it is absolutely pure conjecture but we were wondering if there might have been some foul play here and the short cape was an attempt to hide it. Again I don't know this guy from adam but I do know guys here hunt coyotes here at night with rifles and spot lights which I understand is is perfectly legal. Makes you wonder what would happen if a buck like this walked out into a field in front of one of these hunters.
