Default Prayer request

Hi all!

I come and go to this board, but I always come back! I can't stay away for more than a month at best. I'd like to thank all of you for the prayers offered on my behalf, in the past.

Our congregation is going through a time of change. Our minister has resigned, to the delight of a few members, to take a preaching job in another state. Our eldership seems to be somewhat divided on a few issues and to be honest, a lot of back-biting is going on. I have mixed emotions about what is happening here. Our preacher was a close friend of mine and my family and I will miss him and his family terribly. I was asked to become adeacon 2 years ago and after much prayer and thought accepted. At the time, I was full of zeal and approached my area of work with gusto. Since all of this has happened, I find my love ofsome ofmy brethren is not as great as it once was. I am contemplating resigning and searching for another congregation with whichto worship. I feel as if my decision as a father and head of my family is really important and I'd ask you all to pray that the decision I make is in accordance with God's Will.

Thank you,

GH

Will Pray for you and your congregation , but it seems to be the sign of the times more and more people are seeking true spiritual relationships and it is not happening because the church has allowed the Spirit of Jezabel to rule within it.

I have about 300 members on my Msn groups ,http://groups.msn.com/TruthSeekers
with the same problem as yours.

My church has grown by 1500 members in 2 years, we now hold 3 services on sunday, and my Jewish group 500 members on Saturday.

Shalom, Peace
