Default transfer to this college

I did have this posted in off season wasnt getting much response. I am at Purdue University right now.I want to transfer back to the college I started at. I like Purdue but I am under more stress, the classes are bigger here, classes are harder. I am more relaxed back at home. What should I do?

Hi Deerhunter!

It seems you have a problem and you need some help. I can't really offer a suggestion as to whether to stay or go, but I would just pray about it. In my life, when faced with a difficult decision, I have often prayed about it repeatedly. In most cases things will just work out. Looking back on it, I'd say God gve me the best direction. Tryit and see if it works. If it works, I'd be willing to bet you'll just run out of options until the right thing becomes clear. You may have 3 or 4 things you are considering and one by one, they just won't seem to be the wisest decisions. You will be surprised what the fervent prayer of a righteous man can accomplish.

Good luck and I'll say a prayer for God's Wisdom for you as well.

OK ...Just wondering. I will be praying for ya my friend. I came down here in 81 to go to college in Lakeland ,Florida. Mine was free becauseI was in the military. That is a tough major.you are persuing.I majored in Bible, Education and Music. Your major sounds like alot of math. I was horrible in math. Purdue is certainly a well known college. My prayer is that you know God's will for your life. True life and happiness is knowing Jesus Christ day by day. I can tell you a day without putting Christ first is a wasted day.May God bless you sir as you commit your way unto him.

Proverbs 16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

Thank you very much chuck7. You are right my degree is hard. I enjoy it very much so there are some classes I dont like in all its fun. I love it at Purdue like i said I am more relaxed back at home. I am hopeing I can find a job around home after school. It may sound strange that a guy that is college educated wants to stay around back where he grew up. In my state of Indiana alot of young people are leaveing the state to go get jobs some where else. The reasons why they are all leaving I am not to sure. I am sure they can find better jobs else where. Why I want to stay around is because my family owns a small farm around 200 acres. I would like to farm this as little income plus I just love to be out there in the field its almost as good as hunting. Also this is where I hunt. I am sorry this had to be so long.

No sorry needed, We are like family on here { most of the time.}
I hear the tough choice. I think I would stay close to the farm too. I chose to get locked in Florida. I can't leave or I will mess up my retiremant. So I have a pretty good cash situation, loud neighbors and no hunting. I can't wait till I can rtetire to get a small hobby farm. I'm having to drive a long ways to hunt this year.

The Lord is good. We need to put our hnting , homes and very lives in His hands. He knows what is best.
Psalm 37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

37:5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
God bless,
CHuck7

deerhunter as others have said, pray, put it into Gods hands, he will not lead you astray, you may not get an answer the first, second or third try, but keep at it, God will lead you down the proper path.
