RE: When you have a decision to make.....
Chuck says,
There are many different ways to pray. This is a big one and our own feelings can get into the way /thus you are wanting God to bless your plans. That is not good prayer.

Chuck, i respectfully disagree with this statement..fasting is a great way to draw closer to God, but it is not a requirement when you pray..there is one assurance in praying, that is to pray in the will of God..
"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him" 1 John 5:14-15
We need to learn to pray with our hearts surrendered to the will of Gd..
"Delight thyself also in the Lord, and He shall give thee the desires of thy heart." Ps.37:4
"If ye abide in me and my Word abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." John 15:7
"And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it
"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. "Philippians 4:6
Chuck, i don't believe there are any bad prayers, they may not be answered the way we want them to be, but that's according to God's will not ours..
have a great day and God Bless..
