Default Could use a few prayers for traveling Sat.

Dear friends,
I have been looking for a place to retire in a few and have my sights near Strut in Missouri. I will be leaving Florida Sat. night at 6:00PM and going through bama , Mississippi ,Arkansas and into The Ozarks. I will not be hunting but birdingand dealing with realitors. It's amazing what can happen on a forum. I do covet your prayers.

God bless ALL of you.
You have caused me to grow closer to The Christ.
Love Chuck7

chuck good luck in your search, i have a friend that lives close to lake of the ozarks, it is some beautiful country, what part will you be traveling to, also property and homes were very reasonable in that area, we looked at a house, 3bdrm brick 1400-1600sf and 40 acres of hardwoods for low 80's, it was on a dirt road, right out of Max creek,, the only downside was that loz is covered with pleasure boaters on w/e's it gets very rough, but it is close to pom de tarre and trumanprayers sent for a safe and fruitful trip,

Keith,
The real estate is incredible out there. We are looking at the area in Willow Springs close toWest Plains. We will have to stay in Florida for 10 more yearsin less I can land a job up there.Strut and his wife have gone way out of their way for me.Willow Springs is supposed to be a very nice area. Even has public water It was a very tough choice for Chuck Renfrow was also sending great pictures and info from Virginia. Alot of the folks on here are just like family. I consider myself a very blessed individual for meeting you folks. Thanks for you concern Keith. As Disney and Citrus is to Florida ..deer hunting is to Missouri. Most are up there for the deer I understand.....and the peace in quiet. Thanks also to you Sylvan.

Keith,
I'm planning to go back up there for deer hunting in November. There is also a rainbow trout strem in the area. I do know the turkey is excellent. Grouse and pheasant are not bad either. I can't wait to be a resident there. The non- resident licenses are tough.

Thanks Motor,
I do agree whole heartedly with the information on Halloween. So many of the Christians have stood up against it that it is pert near out of the schools. Thanks for your concern.I'm a little concerned about my wife's car. It's using transmission fluid. For me a 2 bedroom trailor on 20 or more acres would be fine. My wife doesn't see it that way though..
It looks like day break we will be close to the Holly Springs National Forest in Mississippi. Should be some good birding there.
I do hope you are doing fine sir,
God bless,
Chuck
