Well my son ties the knot Saturday! He is marrying a VERY special young lady, not only is she a sweetheart, but she has stuck by his side throught the thick and the thin of his life. They have been dating for almost 5 years, during that time my son joined the Marine Corp, she stuck with him through boot, AIT, Operation Iraqi Freedom and 6 months in Afghanistan!
I would like to ask a favor of all of you. I have been blessed and honored to be asked to give the Blessing at the wedding reception, I am asking you all for prayers to help me be more in tune with God then ever as I give this blessing.
I have always been blessed by the Spirit in the past when saying prayers at family functions, I have never prepared for this except with prayer before hand and the Spirit has never let me down, I am sure the Spirit will not let me down this time either. All I ask for is prayers to help me be even more in tune with the Spirit as I give this blessing.
I must really be nervous about this because I have actually been working on a short prayer aka talking points list just to be on the safe side. Why I am doing this I really don't know, but I am.

eto I have always just let the Spirit move me no matter what the occasion, I will do it this time also, but I am going to pray about it before hand and write down bulletized high points.......... maybe.... For me it is a tough decision because I feel as though I may not be giving the Spirit full credit for moving me so many times in the past by bulletizing it ahead of time. One more thing to pray about.
