Yeah. We discussed it back then. We were all in complete agreement that you can never lose your salvation.

Wasn't that it y'all?

In my Christian walk I must say it is one of the most dangerous doctrines out there. I don't plan to post any scriptures butI could post at lest 50 showing that we are called to endure to the end . Many ,the Bible says are enemies of the cross. Without a cross there is no heavenly future. You will know the true Heavenly family by their fruits. Fruit is grown in cross baring.

It was agreed that nobody can take your salvation from you, and it was agreed that God will not take it away from you, andverses given to back that up.

However, when it was noted that you can reject salvation or backslide, also with verses given, one side agreed and the other side disagreed but would not confront the scriptures given. It was similar to the recent baptism thread.

It was said that one could not lose a gift that was given. I don't think much thought was given to what was being said. I have received many gifts over my life time that I have no idea where they are at today. Some were given to others, some went into the yard sale, some ended up in the trash, others because I didn't value them have simply been lost in time. Are we saying that the gift of salvation cannot be rejected by the receiptiant? Are we saying that if we desire to do so that we cannot lay aside that gift? Doed God force one to be saved if they decide that they no longer want to be saved? No one else can pluck us from his hand, but are we forced against our will to continue in a saved state?
