Default Obedience

Dear Friends
First I would like to saythis post is not just something to fill up time. Also , the verses I plan to post are nothing new to anyone, just a reminder to us. Thirdly, this is not coming from a haughty spirit ,but a brother.

Lately my wife and I have been in the hussle and bussle of looking at houses and property. It seems at our work place there have been lot's of trials. My wife is kind of hard and there is usually a problem if I quote any verses to her at all. But deep in my soul the Lord has been teaching me that life is not in things. Life is in the Son. And that life can ONLY be found in a life of OBEDIENCE. When we sin a wall separates us from the life of God.

Ephesians 4:
4:17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

4:19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

4:20 But ye have not so learned Christ;

This I believe is what separates many Christians from God. The sin inside.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Friends...the only true road to knowing Jesus and finding contentment is by obeying Christ Jesus in ALL you do. Let there be no gray areas...only faith areas. " For godliness with contentment is great gain."

I love you ALL,
Brother Chuck
PS I told my wife the other day as I saw serious frustration on her face that true Life can only be found in Jesus alone and nothing else. To my surprize she recieved it. We have put looking for things on hold as we both get our focus where it should me..on God alone.

Default RE: Obedience

Focusing on God will lead you to what you need in life Chuck, obediance to God keeps one in touch with God which allows one to be led by God leading to blessings from God.
