Default My Elk-Hunting Rig

Taz said I could post these picture here, Thanks Taz.

Back-Closed

This is what the rig looks like from the rear view, all closed up and waiting on some Colorado cold weather.

Mr pirk--post away brother! I am interested in hearing all the details of your hunt -- both good and bad. Include any pics you can. This is the hunting and religion forum as Taz pointed out earlier.

An over-all view from the front.

This is an over-all view from the back. The rain fly I made can be used up as it is here, or with the sides down, to keep the snow load off and the tent a bit warmer.

A view of the right back, with the tent door open. That is a wood burning stove I built that you see just inside the open doorway. Also notice that I made a folding heat deflector to keep the tent wall and roof panel cool.

Open back view, the bunks measure 3ft X 7ft. The shelves measure 20in. X 7ft. The rug keeps your toes a little warmer when walking around in the tent.
This view also shows the set-up of the inner-support frame I built.

Back left view, the pantry is what you see just inside the tent along with a gear supply shelf.
