Romans 1:28-32 what ya think

Romans 1:28-32

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

What could be more true than this today? I think about all the movies and tv shows today that are so wicked. "inventors of evil things" those producers, not only them that make the movies/tv but those that go to see them. I am teaching the teens at church and it is unrealhow many teens love shows like "will and Grace" is it just me or is watching this show approving of gay people/rights? What do you guys think?

It should come as no surprise that mainstreem media pushes the liberal leftist views. If I didn't know better, I'd say there was a mass conspiracy to force feed these views until they became accepted. Abortion and Homosexuality are talked about as civil rights instead of sins now. If I were to speak out against them, I'm a religious nut, or a prejudiced jerk. The concept is simple, if I tell a kid enough that he is worthless, he will eventually believe it. If society tells our kids often enough that gays are normal, or abortion is a civil right, then they will eventually believe that too. It's up to us as parents, and community leaders, to change that. Parents be warned. I was watching cartoons with my 4 year old the other day and I had to turn it off. They used offensive language, degraded each other, showed a single parent family as better than two, and I'll be damned if they didn't have a cartoon character with his pants below his butt and his underwear showing. It's getting to the point where I can't let my kids watch cartoons on t.v. The inventors of evil are not just politicians and strip club owners, they're cartoon producers too. Our schools won't allow the pledge because it has the word God in it. They can't teach "intelligent design" because it violates the kids right to not have God in school at all. I'm getting fed up. They don't even want our children to have all sidesof the story, they want the scientific, no God, version. Forget about how it makes me feel now, these children will be voting in several years. The more they are force fed that gays are natural, and abortion not murder, the more likely they are to vote that way later. Scares the hell out of me. Hopefully, our voice as parents can stand up to the many voices of the inventers of evil.

Great post Moose. Times are always changing. Elgallo114 I agree with you. They are trying to get them as young as possible. The under wear hanging out drives me nuts also. You don't know how bad I want to grab them and give the ultimate wedgy. Think that would go oververy well?

Sadly it has reached a point where even bill boards are pushing the envelope, but movies and TV are things that need to be closely monitored, definantly limited, and in some cases eleminated!

My kids love really hard core stuff like the history channel or the Discovery channel with an occasional NASCAR race stuck in there![&:]

Also I think about the judges that let these killers and kiddnapers go free, or the people that want to let gay people have "gay rights", or the doctors and nurses that comfort the girls as they abort the little life in them.

I did see something that did make me happy today. My job puts me in the room with hurt or sick people, well as I was working on a bed for a lady a few teens came in and gave her oreos (her favorite) and studied the bible with her. I was so glad to see some good young folks! They went to every room.

great post moose, i have just started reading a book called "the marketing of evil" it will tell you how things have slipped into our lives, and the marketing plans these evil people haveincorperated to make you believe certian behaivor is OK, maybe that explains why my tv has become so useless, i bet i have not watched 3 hours of tv in amonth, what i did watch was news of katrina, because there is nothing on but garbage anyway. on a side note me and the wife traveled to ethridge tenn. to the amish community this w/e, man talk about a simple life w/o the influnce of the outside world, very interesting people.
