Is this wrong for me

I have beenstudying thru Romans andreally allof Pauls letters. I get the impression he definately hasa favoritism of Jewish people.

I mean its my understanding that Jewish law has no bearing on gentiles. Only Faith, and works with faith, and belief. But in Romans, Paul is wishy washy about it it seems. He mentions it over and over to Gentiles.

I guess my question is, while reading and listening to Romans,I start to feel, that Paul is putting his own emotion in this a little, and its not entirely the perfect word of God. But then I start to feel scared. Scared that the devil is whispering these things in my head to pull me away from the word. I then pray in the name of God, for the devil to be gone.

I mean is it wrong for me to sometimes have these feelings? Does anyone else get these feelings sometimes when studying?

I don't think you are wrong in any way brother. Maybe these feelings are to get you to study a little deeper. Pray for wisdom and keep at it BC. Hey God favors the jews also. Maybe Pauls closeness to Christ and his studys made him favor the jews also.

bc I think we all are at times feeling a bit led astray or lax about things, and as you have done already you will find that prayer and in times of an extra need fasting will help you draw closer to the truth and help you to stay on the path that God wants you to follow.

Thanks guys, but the Jews turned thier backs on Jesus. I understand God tells us not to worry, he will deal with them in his own way, but it just seems logical that at the time Paul was writing Romans, he would have would have reginized that Gentiles will turn out to be the carrier of the truth of salvation.

I would say no. My wife felt Paul was against women. I simply encouraged her to read another version. I feel you need to be honest toward God and express your feelings to Him in prayer.

Snooky, your not understanding what my question is. I am saved, and I am doing what God commands to keep my head in the book. But my problem is, sometimes I feel Paul is giving more comentary than the true word, at least with the KJV. Then I feel guilty about it and think, its just the devil trying to instill doubt in my head to make me ineffective.

I could point out many other scriptures that reenforce the fact that God does not favor ANYBODY!Our God is impartial!He has NO favorites. Remember He is not like us! And I for one am very glad!
