Alex,
There is a verse about not letting no man judge you for a Sabbath ,new moon etc. I believe it may be in Colossians. On the other hand I have been judged by our Lord when I put fishing and hunting before going to church services. Our Sundays are generally a big meal at our home for relatives and church. .....and Tampa Bucaneer football games. I just hooked the TV back up to catch the Bucs. I do not believe us gentiles are under the old law or I'm sure keeping the Sabbath would be much more .
Chuck
According to the Bible, the Apostles met on the first day of the week, so that is the example I follow. "Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy" is the only one of the 10 Commandments that isn't repeated in some form in the New Testament.

Acts15:24 forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
15:28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; 15:29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
Colosians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

As LBR says, we meet on the first day of the week as the Apostles did. I don't consider sunday an actual sabbath tho. I know sat would be considered a sabbath day to some folk. I believe that the Lord is our sabbath.
I would be interested in your thoughts on this pertaining to messianic Jews and to gentiles.
