Alex, after reading a little about your history onanother thread, I am really curious about your personal history... how you came to become a Christian. And, after all of your study, what you believe is necessary for salvation, who will be saved, and what is salvation? I know thats an awful lot, but would love to hear about it.
Thanks,
Dave

My family became believers through a gospel church that came to our house one night and gave us a serenade with guitars and christian music, we were jews ,My Grandfather is well known Rabbi and one of the founders of the New Israel, But He accepted Jesus readily because he had found his name all over the old testament and prophecies taht indicated what he was to do and the date that he would appear on earth, so he had come to the conclusion the man Yeshua was the Messiah promised to Israel, he also knew that the Messiah had to amke two distict appearances, most Jewish scholars know this.
We all accepted Jesus but kept it to ourselves within the Jewish community we lived, then we migrated to Israel in 1967 my Grandfather had gone ahead in 1949 and had establish himself as a well known hebrew scholar and teacher of the modern hebrew language and he also started messianic churches in the homes.
There is only one way of salvation, that is having faith in the blood atonement that Yeshua Made on calvary, "there is no other name given unto men in which we can be saved"
God provided the way through his grace as an unmeritted favor to mankind, Jews and gentiles alike are saved through the grace of God Alone.
Despite what some churches teach the Law was never given to Israel as a method of salvation, that always came through Grace and by faith in the god of Israel.
We believe by this grace and by the blood atonement of Jesus , all of Israel shall be saved at the end.
As paul expalined in the book of Romans.
What else can I tell you my brother ?

Live Life in such a way that those who do not know Christ will come to know Him because they know you
Thank you. I always find it very encouraging when Jewish people accept Yeshua as their messiah. In some sense it seems more powerful, and once saved, your knowledge more complete, and possibly more understandingas you have a different perspective, being steeped in mosaic law and other wisdom books.
Also, many of use are quite ignorant of what a Jew is. Not all Isrealites are Jewish correct? We had a German Jewish man in our midst for some time... who escaped the holocaust, named Wilhelm Baum. He was saved when he came to the US and then became a missionary to ***an. He wrote a book A Jew A Miracle andA Mission. We were home churching for a time and he was part of our gathering. Such a blessing. He explained to us the differences between being a Jew, an Isrealite and such... but I don't remember all that now. In our little home gathering we used to sing hymns by request. Much requested by Mr. Baum was He Giveth more Grace. At home now when we worship as a family, we call it Mr. Baum's song.
God bless,
Dave

Yes not all Israelites are Jew, that is those who are borned in Israel even if they are not Jews they are Israelites, which includes the Palestinians.
Many Palestinians are proud israelis and do not mess with this conflict with the foreigners PALESTINIANS.
We have other arabs which are also Israelis and their families have being in the Holy Land since the times of abraham, the beduaims are some of these, they lived side by side with Israeli Jews for centuries.
Some people think that there were no jews in israel after 70 AD, this is not true, there was a Jewish preence in Israel always.
Other people think palestinians are the original phillistines, this is also incorrect.
The phillistine were taken captive by Nabuchanezer and brought to Babylon alone with The Jews, The Jews returned and rebuilt the Temple, But The phillistines dissapeared as slaves in Babylon. The Phillistines were not indigenous to Israel or canaan, they were migrants from Endo europe , specifically Greece.
So they had no arab blood in them.
The modern day palestinians are made up of many of the sorrounding middle eastern nations, mostly from Jordan and Turkey Syria etc, they are not our cousins as they do not descend from Ishmael as some people think.
Palestinians descend mainly from the sons of LOT nephew of Abraham who was drunkened by his daughters and inpregnated his own daughters, this where Jordanians come from. They are only Consired arabs in the last 200 -300 years. They also kicked out the palestinians out of Jordan while Israel offered a place for them, but they turned around and did th same thing that they were kicked out from jordan.
Our First Cousins are the Beduaim arabs who are the true descendants of Ishmael son of Abraham.
The saudis are not our cousins either, they are arabs because they live in an Arab nation but they are not genetically related to us.
Hope that clears some misconceptions, specially by the disinformation that runs wild in the secular media and the net and even in most christian churches.
Shalom
