There are 27 books in the New Testament. 260 chapters. If you read 10 chapters a day you can read the New in 26 days.

I thought most people know that there are 66 books in the Bible -- that's assuming this is a straight forward question and not a "trick."

Reb,Chuck7,David,Taz,and me we are the 67 book of the bible when we receace the Lord as are savor the old you die and is gone forever and you are reborn a new person filled with the holy spirtit and a new light shine on us and all that we say and do. Brother we are the 67 book of the bible we are the ones he sends to all nations to preach the word of God and to teach the love and the joy that he brings us ever day. When we are saved the old dies and is cast into the deepest sea never to be remember and a new you is raise from the grave a new and bright light unto him that we beleave. 66 or 67 your choice

There are 66 accepted by the Catholic Fathers and accepted by the Protestants, but in fact there are many more books in the Hebrew Torah and Tenach, the ones that were not accepted by Christians is because they didn't fit their beliefsor agenda, but yet Jesus Quoted from the Talmud and so Did Paul so they were well verse in other booksof the old testament which must christians have not even heard of.
