Default Oneness & Trinity

Dear Friends,
Remember...our warfare is a spiritual one. We are currently undergoing one now; and many do not even realize it. The Lord Jesus prayed that we would be one. In my 29 years of going to church not one Christian ever even brought these issues up. We were always busy doing the will of the Fatherlike raising money for missions, visiting nursing homes etc. These emulations and strifes over these things are only from puffed up pride. How soon you all forgot about the scriptues that Taz posted about contention. Now the Trinity believing folks are being called idol worship in some post. And this is love? I will not be part of this dividing ,contentious , prideful group. Become like children and repent . If your not judged for your understanding of the Godhead your judged by attending the wrong church. If that is not enough , your judged for reading the wrong version of the Bible. My freinds take a good look in the mirror and work on that person. We are commanded to advoid conversations like this. It only hinders your faith. It does nothing for your Spirit. Yes I thank God thatHunting.net got my mind off of garbage but I am now ready to serve the Lord and this my friend does not help. This only breeds doubt and unbelief. I do have a few friends on here. Please continue to PM me or E-mail me. To the rest ...have fun. Everytime lately I get off here I got to get prayed back up because my spirit has been grieved.
NIVGalations 5:15But if you keep attacking each other like wild animals, you had better watch out or you will destroy yourselves.
KJV Galations5:15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
Lord Jesus please deliver me from this mess. Take the desire from replying on here or posting on here away. I know your servants are to be gentle unto all men and not strive over words. Deliver me speedily from this. Help me not to look for their approval; but only the approval that comes from you.
In Jesus name. Amen

Bro Chuck; It seems that the heated controversy over the subject had almost calmed down to a normal level. Now the message of "love" has refered to those involved as"wild animals devoring one another". It seems that "love" is not willing to let things cool down but, rather wants to keep stirring the pot. Why??
Lest we forget history, The entire Old Testament a oneness was taught and believed. There was no Trinity anywhere to be found. The Early Church taught and believed oneness for the first 200+ years before the developement of The Trinity doctrine. Do a little study of Church history from 325 AD until now. Who, (Trinity followers or oness followers) was the ones that were persecuted and killed, chased from place to place, forced to worship underground, ect? Who was the ones doing the persecuting and killing ect.?? Why do you think it strange that the Trinity Churches that you attended for the last 25 years did not teach "oneness Doctrine". The same reason that Oneness Churches don't teach their congrations the doctrine of the Trinity.
Posting messages such as this one doesn't show me "Love", "Unity", "Gentleness",ect. It makes me wonder if someone is pulling some strings behind the scene to influence your wavering that has been so appearent of late.

I wan't going to post a reply to this one either Snooky . . . .but your right , this is a prime example of a deceptive love that stirs up so much strife here.
Here we are with just as much right to express our christian beliefs as anyone else, and not only do we have to be very careful to word our truth in just a certain way but we are being attacked with a trojan horse called "love".

Talking about the deity of God sure doesn't hinder my faith. It strengthens my spirit. Especially to know that He cared enough about me to manifest Himself in the flesh and shed His blood for my redemption. I saw a comment earlier that alluded to it being fruitless. IMHO talking about the deity of God is never fruitless. If it was fruitless, there would not be so many references to God's deity throughout the scriptures by so many different writers. It was important to them to know who God is and it is important to me to know who God is. How can a person truly worship God in spirit and in truth if that person doesn't have it clear in their mind what the truth is about who God is, whether that be a belief in one God or in a trinity? I was first taught the trinity concept and later the one God concept. I studied both sides for years to come to my understanding that there is only one God. I overheard a deacon say one time that he was worried about offending one of the three by not mentioning all three in his prayers. I'm glad I don't have to deal with that worry because the fulness of my God is in Jesus Christ! How many accept their belief without study?

Chuck, I am new to this forum but I know somethingsI cannot change. I form a picture of people who post over a period of time. When things get nasty it doesn't bother me because people show what they are and their views. Over time everyone else is forming a picture of that person also. Keep the faith,Good men do bad things and bad men do good things. It is not for us to judge in the long run. I try to live by that rule,am not always able when I just plain get mad,but I thinkwehave to try.
