Alex,
While I was in Israel I was impressed with the little bit of the family life. that I saw.Can you please explain in detail what a devout Jewish family is like from dawn to dusk. I noticed they read their Bibles standing up. I also saw men and women holding hands. . It seemed as though they were back in time. They seem to have some incrediable values.
Thanks
Chuck
Chuck not to answer for Alex, but hand holding betwwen friends of the same sex is very acceptable in numerous societies throughout the world, I know it is in Viet Nam and several countries in the middle east. Shoot my dad and I held hands almost up until the day he died when I was 19, but then again that was parent child and not friends.

Taz,
LOL...I was only giving one of many examples. I noticed alot of things,. Shucks I still hold hands with my wife. I would like to learn about all the little things they do.I was very impresed. I know they religiously read their Bibles throughout the day. There are only a few TV shows on. Their diet is very lean and they appear to have a lot of sel fcontrol. They also have flat roofs with reinforcement rods left ..I heard to continue to build for their families. They are very family oriented. No holding hands I mentioned ot point out how simple minded these wonderful folk are.
CHuck
Bro.Taz, what I saw and did in Lebanon, was just cheek to ckeek no kisses.
They do it in all the Arab counties.
They do it in Italy also, but when they do on the mouth, your'rea dead man
walking.

Taz,
I really seen more Muslims than Jewish people. There culture is so black and white different from ours. I did not want to say much because Alex is over there alot. I did not see any of that. They appeared very prudish/ some may take it to be stuck up.I won't I see it as prudish. They were extremely modestly dressed and lived their entire life unto God. I was impressd with such dedication. The few women I saw wore a vale. No one Jewish person spoke to me except for on the plane. They did watch as I fell to my knees and balled my eyes out. I could not stop cryin gin Israel. The presense of God surrounded me very strong.
Chuck
Jewish Life is dedicated to the family sorroundings, we eat at the table all meals and bless it everytime, not everyone for themselves watching TV and their feet up on the sofa sort of thing, we are very pro-education, pushing the children to do the best in school.
We teach them school is their Job and ours as adults is to provide for them until they merry and leave home, otherwise it is very normal lifestyle.
Those of us who messianics stress to read the word to learn Torah and to learn the New Covenant(testament) and to live by its principles.
What else can I tell you, what you saw is what it is. If I were to say that Jewish children are the best behave kids in the world , some will chuck it up to proudness, but it is still true.
You will not see gangs of kids in Israel or in Jewish neighborhoods anywhere, braking windows painting graffity, burglarys are unheard of, or braking windshield etc.
Some russian jews who are mostly etheists have brought some of those problems to Israel, but they are quickly and severely dealt with and usually stop immidiatley.
The Old testament Law is God's way to live.He gave it for that purpose.
Shalom
