God's Name in Vain

In a Bible study last night we went over "Hallowed be thy name." How that the Gentiles put their trust in that name. With all that said...should we listen or possess videos or DVDs thattake God's name in vain. I destroyed all of mine this morning.Two bags full. of Movies with great plots but taking our Father's name in vain. I thought my wife would be mad but she wasn't..

what are dvd's and video's, i bet i watch less t.v. than anyone i know, i may watch 5 hours a week including the news, but taking the Fathers name in vain in un-excusable to me[:@]

I agree, however, it's a wonderful indicator of a persons' Spiritual state, and THAT should worry us more than the mis-use of His name... get that straightened out, and the mis-use will stop...I've seen sooooo many "christians" get wrinkled up looks at hearing those names used outta context(as in cursing)..but I've only known a couple that would take the time to care about the persons' Spiritual condition, and love them,as we're TOLD TO DO....
these types of threads do little to promote Gods' love, when they in reality should "shock" us into action....
..that includes me.
