Taz, . .I just don't see the problem . . .at least not to the extent some folk seem to. I see folk that are over zealous, over sensitive, and even over bearing, but I don't see anything that should have everyone in an uproar. Anytime someone comes in proclaiming a "religion", their going to be challenged by other religions. Christians are simply a seperate people. I think the nature of a forum is geared toward debate more so than anything else. I, in fact do see unity among folk here . .at least among christians. Everyone can't be pleased at the same time, . .some will never be pleased. I see myself as a minority here as far as my faith goes . .but if I make a post pushing my beliefs . . .I realize that I'm going to be critisized . . .and even make some folk angry. . .if I feel berated, then it is the price I pay for laying my beliefs on folk that I know feel different about. I have been there . .done that . . and I will go there again. To me this forum is more geared toward debate than it is toward being in unity with other religions.
There are a few religions represented here that from my faith I am against . .period. However, there is not one person that posts here that I hold any hard feelings for. There's not one person that posts here that I would have a problem hunting or camping with. But when we whip out our beliefs, there is going to be controversy and several sides, and that is what we do here.

Bro. Mac have you seen a thread dedicated to tearing your churches beliefs to threads? Would it be right if I started a thread that the sole purpose of it was to berate Lutherans? Catholics? Jews? Church of Christ? Independent Baptist?

Would any of those threads bring us closer together?

Bro. Mac this forum proves what has always been said and I thought it was wrong.... partially, religion and politics should never be discussed amoung friends. Stupidly I had always beleived that for the most part people of religion could in a humble and adult manner discuss their different beliefs without ripping each other apart. Man was I wrong!!!

The attitude of some folks here is "I am right, you are wrong and I am going to show you the true love of Christ by attacking you or your faith in every manner I can short of using curse words."

Bro.Taz, it all started with a post of one individual of another false faith.
How long can one of us just sit here and grin and bare it? Would you rather
we sit here and not defend the true Word of God?
If you are talking about Alex as being a Jew, he is a Jew that believes Jesus is
the Mezziah. If a Jew posts on here that does not believe thatJesus is the Mezziah
and only amessenger of God, I would have to defend that, would'nt you?

Rebel you only have a need to defend when attacked, not when they speak in a non-offensive manner. If some one came on here and attacked Christians in genera I would defend Christianity, of course if they took it to far I would put on my mod hat............ but hey then I would be accused of being biased in defending Christains now wouldn't I?

Here's the deal. I come on here and say, I'm a Christian, and Christians believe this ...

Someone else says, oh yeah, well I'm a Christians and Christians don't really believe that, they believe this...

Now, Christians are instructed to witness the truth. How do the two views, with the religous requirement find peace on this message board?

Bro.Taz, I take false doctrine in a deplomatic way as being attacked. It's
not what you say, but how you say it, either way it's still being slapped in
the face on both cheeks!
Bro.Taz, you are the moderator of this forum and no one can argue with
your opinions. If you have to make a decision on threads, hey you're the
boss, no arguement from me.
