Default Bashing

I am new to this forum but not surprised to see that it is monitored and edited by Tazman and "bashers" are blocked.
I agree that there needs to be civil and logical discussion but I'm very leery of any message editing or blocking. This is typical of religious discussions. Whoever has the power feels justified in judging the viewpoints of others and disregarding those that aren't presented in a mannerto their liking.
I think religion is probably the most important topic we can discuss. Thus it is sure to bring outstrong emotions. Obviously, I can't see the messages that Tazman is editing, but unless they are threatening or profane I think they deserve a place on a public forum.

I am veryspiritual but do not believe in any of the major religions. I am tired of being edited and considered "evil" by peole who pursue religion without thought or blindly follow the Bible without understanding. I consider most organized religions to be misleading and those that follow them to be well-meaning but misled and willing to mold their entire lives around ideas that are not their own and are often incorrect.

You have nothing to fear from an open mind.

Good, you ought to rent some space and start your own webpage. The fact is you could not understand as Paul says in Corinthians. You kinda got to take the first step.

Deercorn; Welcome aboard. We need another "very spiritual person" who has an "understanding" and is yet carnal enough to pass judjement on those who monitor this board. If you get blocked or banned from this board, you will have to be a first class nut case. Go back and read some of the debates from the past and you will see what I am saying, and you don't have to be spiritual or have an understanding to see what I am talking about.

Deercorn, welcome brother! It's all abouttwo mormoms that post on here, that think they are right by reading all them illusional mormon books and we are not followimg the word of God. Most on here study the KJV and NIV Period, no extra books. That's what it's all about.

hey deer i may be way off here but my thinking is that tazman would prefer that no one make a post running down anothers religions or beliefs, i'd say there is a high probability that we all have a little different beliefs, the teacher's job in this caseis not to show that your way is right orwrong, but to show you his wayis right according to the scripture and the interpitation of that individual, you could read the scriptures to some and there still going to be steadfast in their beliefs,in my opinion i don't need to tell someone something there doing is wrong, and frankly being judged or judgeing another is a not acceptable in Gods eyes, but you could always let the person know how/what you doing, show the scriptures tell what the bible says, we may both walk away feeling that were bothstill correct, i would probably do the same, but maybe, just maybe, one of us could pick up something we have never noticed or heard before, i did just yesterday, thanks brothers and sisters.

Corn, most of us think like you too. However we must have some control, if not it can become just like a thousand other Christian Forums that use more profanity and vulgar language than a prison riot. You certainly are welcome to post your thoughts.
I agree with Bro. Rebel Hog, we have among us, that like to stir the pot.. But again, it's their opinion.
