Default Rev. 17-21

Who is the great Prostitute do ya think? Do you think its said metaphorically? Or symbolic? Or actually a women causing harm to the world. Also is this the same as babalon? Is this a particular city? Or one we don't know about just yet, or not revealed?

I figured the great prostitute is symbolic of maybe a movement, or even a nation or leader. Also what the scarlet beast and the seven heads and ten horns? Again symbolic? Or really represents kings of nations?

I would appreciate opinions.

Brother, you are asking questions from the most misunderstood book in
the Bible. Everyone is going to give you a different opinion in this book.

Manyprophecy ministers believe theGreat Harlot is the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church. When reading Rev. 17, just think about what the Catholic Churchhasdone through out the ages.

thanks guys, I was was thinking possibly the president. Well, I have read thru and listned too almost 10 times. I about give up.

This all spurred from a elder explaining the doctrine of the church I am going too. He said as a FAQ, when someone dies does he believe they are in heaven presently if they accepted Christ. He believes they are in heaven. I believe they are resting until judgement time even if there names are in the book of life. So after reading and reading some more, I still believe they are resting until judgement time.

Bigcountry this is just my take on scripture as I see it, but those whose name is written in the Book of Life are resting peacefully awaiting Judgement Day, those whose names who are not written in the Book of Life are not having a peaceful rest.

All interesting very viable opinions that are vastly remote. Maybe Rebel is right. Nobody knows.

Thanks guys for the opinions.
