Default Daily Bible Reading

Dear Friends ,

I don't know how many of us are reading our Bibles daily but I would like to challenge you all if you are not ,to read 10 chapters a day. That can easily be split up through out the day. Here are some benefits I have noticed.

1. It diffently brings peace of mind.
2. Nearly everytime I led someone to the Lord it has been when I was quietly reading my Bible by myself. Folks just happen to wander over ...and the conversation begins.
3. Your faith is doubled.
4. Easier to love people.
5.Easier to be a doer of the Word.
6. Gives you self control in other areas.
7. Helps you to know what God's will is.
8. Helps you pray according to God's will.
9. Gives you wisdom.
9. Gives you knowledge about salvation.
10 Makes you healthy.
11. Makes you happy and full of fruit.
12 Cleans your mind .
13. Makes it easier to say no to temptation.
14. Gives me confidence for that day when Christ Jesus comes back.
15. Is a sword to win over satanic battles.

Brother Chuck

Charles Stanley has given some great sermons on the great importance of DAILY Bible reading.

This past Sunday, we had a guest speaker who said that if you would devote 45 minutes in the morning and another 45 minutes at night to reading your Bible, you would read through the entire Bible every month. He said that, to do this, you have to read at a normal reading speed -- a rate of 2 minutes per page. This is not to be confused with Bible STUDY which is MUCH slower and studied.

What blows me away is how that 2 folks can read the word and get totally different understandings of the verse. I'm talking 180 degree difference. Tha tblows me away.

Amen.
I gave it a test tonight . I am not eatting as much as usual. I read 12 chapters out of Isaiah. I 'm only highlighting end time prophecy. Then I will put it together later in a folder. It is very interesting. My weak point is Old Testament so alot of this seems new to me. I read one very convicting verse .

Isaiah 10:15 Does the ax raise itself above him who swings it, or the saw boast against him who uses it?

So often I forget apart from God I am nothing.

It also depends what version of the Bible they are studying. If you are studying
from the KJV you have different wording andinterpretation from the others.
Whohere is studyingfrom the KJV only. I do!
Othersleave many verses out and many reword it to mean different.
