Default To Rebel, my friend

Dear Rebel,
We are getting somewhere. By the following statements it appears I have offended a Pentecostal with one of my replys.

First of all, Pentecostals pretty much are the same kind of folk . We believe the gifts are for today and know our Bibles pretty darn good. Deep down inside I do believe that us 4 get along pretty good. Now I will comment on your statements.

Personally, I have no annomosity towards you, that I sincerely say thank you. And I am serious. I would love to take you out to dinner near your house. I am no threat brother at all. I would love to make peace with you. just I don't understand your way of
thinking.
I can understand that too. Brother I try to live at peace with all men. I only get radical when it comes to the basics. I do not get radical about things that are not concrete or hard to fathom. I am a normal Christian. Since I have experienced tongues and 2 visions yes that makes me a Pentecostal. I also believe Jesus is the only way. I also believe the 66 books of the Bible are the only ones inspired of God. I believe one should be immersed in water. Now "¦for the personnal convictions. I believe for me that genuine faith produces love and works. Again"¦my own conviction daily we should become more like Jesus and less worldly. When a Pentecostal asks you a question, answer them with your commits
not scripture, ornot your feelings.
This is interesting Reb. The ones I have replied to have said the opposite they have said"¯ Don"™t give me your opinion give me scripture."¯ I believe you may have a typo here brother. Most want scripture "¦not opinion.

Bro.Chuck. I don't dislike you, just your way of thinking and respondering to someone
else
. Thanks Reb. I like you too. Again it sounds like you have a problem with someone I have responded to in the past. The only time I can remember was the oneness ordeal. And then I quickly posted Snooky and Leaf"¦.they in turn quickly and graciously they forgave and I felt it. I feel no animosity toward them at all. And Rev"¦he has been a God sent. We have both seen prayers answered in our personal lives. And then there is one whose doctrine is quite different than mine"¦Strut. Isn"™t it funny. He has turned out to be my best friend. Why because both of us see that the most important thing is love. Again"¦you name the place and we can eat anywhere , I will be as kind as I can toward you.
Brother Chuck

I have already appologized to brother DaveH for me to have forgotten my
fellowship with him on the 13th of Aug..in Wildwood,Fl.. I spent my dime
and called him to applogize again and talked to him for 30mins.

He was also waiting for others who he thought was going to meet him, as
talked about onthis forum, but no show or call either.

Chuck, here's where we differ:"First of all, Pentecostals pretty much are the same kind of folk . We believe the gifts are for today and know our Bibles pretty darn good."
C.O.C. and Independent Baptist don't agree with Pentecostals. We are brothers in Christ,
but we have disagreements on scriptures. I personally don't let it bother me, as long as
we understand each other on our differences. I have never refused to fellowship with
someone because of his beliefs.
My wife and I treated Bro.Mac,his son and Sis.lizzie to lunch and never discussed religion.
I had a wonderful fellowship with them, knowing they believed different than me and
no signs of dislike in anyway on both parts.Good Folks!

As you can see I'm not a serious natured person, I am a humorist and like to kid alot.
I get serious when it comes to the Bible and get my toes stepped on by someone
judging me. We should leave that to the Almighty,God.

Bro.Chuck, heres another statement by you:
"I do not get radical about things that are not concrete or hard to fathom. I am a normal Christian." You are either a True Christian or you are not, no inbetween.

We can reply to each other without getting angury,as long as we watch what we say
and how we say it. I also love you as a Christian brother!

Thanks Brother Rebel,
Concerning Dave H,
I had already communicated with him a week before he came down. He appeared fine with me. Fact, I have spoken with him since he came back.

Bro.Chuck, heres another statement by you:
"I do not get radical about things that are not concrete or hard to fathom. I am a normal Christian." You are either a True Christian or you are not, no inbetween. Reb, I consider the disciples normal Christians. I see normal , true ,sincere all the same.

Ok I agree with that. When the smoke totally clears I'd like to take ya out to dinner sometime. You and your wife. I 'm like you...we can leave religion out of it.

Rebel,
Something else I am guilty of. If I see a brother getting beat over the head with the Bible ..and even if I am not part of his denomination I will sometimes team up with the man getting beat up. Love does stuff like that too. I do not believe in kicking someone when they are down. Mormon , Baptist ,CoC , or any other Christian.

Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Chuck, I already said I don't stick with the groove. I don't agree with any mormon
or bubbist, hindu, muslim or any other religion that seeks other books to study!

Rebel,
You don't have to agree with them but we are commanded to love all men. I do not agree with them either. I believe the doctrine of love supercedes my interpretation of the scriptures. I know all churches don't believe that. I have ask many a pastor....Which is more important the doctrine of your church or love. Most have said "The doctrine of our church."

Bro.Chuck, I repeat myself again from a post above!
"I have never refused to fellowship with
someone because of his beliefs."
