I believe that there are some folk that have the gift of healing today. I don't know exactly how this works other than to point to scripture in the bible. I also believe that because of the very nature of these folk that you will never see them on TV. I myself have recieved and witnessed healings. Some of mine were instantanious.
Folk that have this gift may not have it all the time. They may be just obeying God's word and the Lord chooses to use that instant to work. I have full faith in Gods healing power. I wonder if it takes full faith to recieve. I wonder if it's the joining together of folk with true faith in healing. It's a mystery to me, I just know that God heals.
I do believe that the nature of a person that is operating in this power would be such that they would not even come close to becoming famous. These folk are sold out to Christ and will be where suits and ties and the big bucks are not. Their not thinking about, dollars and air time, and wowing the masses of folk that already believe. Many of these folk are in remote impoverished places where their works are never witnessed.
Poor folk . . .Folk that have no money or insurance and no other way but to call on and have faith in God have witnessed divine healing.I wonder if it's in recognizing God as our source. I know an old granny whose hands have been used to heal about as much as you can read about it in the bible. I wonder if I'm just particularly blessed sometimes, have none of you older folk never known of these things. God's healing power has never been doubted in the yrs of my life, folk of faith praying by the laying on of hands have been instruments of healing for as long as I remember. A friend of mine was gut shot once from side to side. Man he was in pain. A sister from across the field heard the shot and the screaming and came rushing over. Hezy (they one that was shot) was leaning against the porch. This saint laid him down and was praying like the dickens. Hezy said he could see a tear forming in her eye, watched it fall and the second it hit his face , all pain left him. I won't go in to how bad this guy was tore up , but it was bad enough that he wasn't expected to make it, but he did.
Many many things like this, I have witnessed. All good things come from above and I have sure seen a tremendous amount of good things. I just wonder is it just me or have you seen them too.

I believe people get healed today but ina subtle way and by people seeking the lords tender mercy. Like the folks you mentioned. What a powerful wittness and testimony to physically see the power of God at work.

have you heard of the lady who attended the old time tent revival? She went to the meeting, the preacher touched her heart, later she explained that was when she was saved. She said to the preacher I just felt light as a feather, I know I was saved. I felt like I was floating around in the air. I know I was saved.The preacher asked mam, were you light as a feather? She said, well no, I just felt that way. He then asked mam did you float around in the air? She said, well no I just felt like I was. The preacher said, mam did you also say you know you were saved? She said yes! I knew at that moment I was saved. The preacher said, well mam, if you felt like you were light as a feather but you weren't, and you felt like you were floating around in the air but you didn't, obviously youwere wrong about the first two feelings, how can you conclusively know that your last feeling was correct? This lady went away angry with the preacher failing to see the difference between feelings and truth
