Default To Bro.Moose

Bro.Moose, I'm willing to forgive and forget, are you?

Forgiveness is a dominant theme in Psalm 103 (note especially verses 3 and 10-13). But look at the reason God is so gracious and compassionate as to pardon our iniquities and remove our transgressions from us as far as the east is from the west: "For He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust" (Psalm 103:14). He knows what we are like, how weak we are. In fact, when He became a man He shared the very same weaknesses. "For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin" (Hebrews 4:15). He has been there Himself. He understands.

There is not a whole lot of difference in the way that Moose conducts himself and a former poster (ShrewmanC) , conducted himself. What happened to Shrewman? . . .lots more that could be said.

I don't think we will have to worry about Shreman, aka Messageman, aka Bill McNeil coming back. If he does, he will be politely escorted out as soon as the pot stirring starts. Due to some remarks (thinly veiled threats)made to me in private, he earned a permenant ban--and that's something you really have to work for.

Taz, at his age if he hasn't matured yet, I don't think there is much chance that he ever will.

As for Moose, his delivery sure needs work, but he seems to be very dedicated and he does back what he says with pertinent scripture. I don't think he compares to Shrewman--he doesn't post something totally off the wall and claim that he's the only one that has been enlightened and if you don't agree you are lost.

In my opinion, we could all use some work on our delivery at times--I'm certainly no exception. A lot of feeling is lost on a computer screen, and what might come across as offensive here might have sounded totally different in person. I try to take that into account when someone here really punches my buttons, but it's not always easy.

Chad (hope the font is right on this one)

Caleb is an awesome guy, he is very zealous and growing in the faith. I asure you, if you knew him better, or if you could see the love and emotion he has for the Lord and the truth of God's word, there would be no doubt about his "good fruit" in this life! He's my very best friend and I have learnedbeyond measure from him, and his faith! As LBR said, we could all do a little better on our deliveries, at times.

A question then . . .it's okey then to make thinly veiled threats to regular members. . .just not to a moderator?

Thats from your perspective as far as being totally off the wall, as you agree in doctrine. As far as being the sole holder of enlightenment and giving the hell condemning statements, I disagree.
I'm not suggesting that Moose should be banned, but I am pointing out that a pentecostal was banned for actions not too far removed from Moose's actions. Even tho I agreed with with the banning of Shrewman, it's not fair that it should be so tolerated of another.

Leaf, if Moose or anyone else makes threats, they will be banned. It's not tolerated, period. I'm talking about serious threats. In my case it was the threat of blackmail--he thought he had something on me, and even though it was ridiculous, that kind of stuff won't be tolerated. You don't have any idea how far removed the threats I recieved were from what Moose posts.

I should correct myself--I haven't seen any off-the-wall statements made by Moose, at least not nearly to the extent of Shrewman--but that's beside the point, because that is not what Shrew was banned for. I don't read every post made, and I don't always agree with Moose either. I don't care what your religious affiliation is as far as the rules are concerned.

If you see something that in your opinion is breaking the rules, feel free to contact Taz or myself. I personally have been attacked on here several times, been called pretty much everything but truthful and honest, but I didn't have anyone banned for it.

For the record, I didn't know that Shrew claimed to be Penetecostal. If he said it, I overlooked it--it didn't matter to me. From what I could tell, he had his own little religion and lived in his own little world.

That's cool LBR, I'm not going on a mission against Moose here. I just want folk to know that it seems to me that things aren't quite lining up right. I know a lot of folk get tired of the constant rudeness that come from his posts, but will never say anything . . . .and thats prolly commendable. I'm the type tho that will eventually have to get something off my chest , and I have. I don't mean to offend you as a moderator, but I do feel that his presentation isn't as offensive to you as it is to others as you aren't recieving the "one two" punch in the same way. It's inevitable that I offend Goose because he is his older brother. Sorry, but he's a grown boy now, and he acts ridiculous and offensive, and I don't feel like he realizes that.
