I reject Joseph Smith as a prophet of God.

If youdo as well then according to Mohonri and Porter and the LDS thenyou are Damned.

I have not once said Mohonri or Porter are damned, that is not my call.

As we have stated that refers to admittance to the highest heaven, the Celestial wherein God the Father lives. In comparision the other lesser glories or heavens are truthfully Hellish. You are damned to a Hell in comparison. Also as we have brought up, thosetruly believingmembers that denythe teachings and are termed Sons of Perdition are cast to aHell without any glory. This ishow that is read.

27but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.

I guess it is all that pesky raging fire that makes them sort of Hellish huh?

Rebel Hog I get the feeling that 1 Tim. 4:9-10 contains more of a message than a simply first reading of it may show.
I get the impression that what it is saying is that....
All men will be judged "justly", by a record of thier actions.
Christians have "the inside track" on this because when they truthfully ask for forgiveness their sins are no-longer remembered. Where as, a person who has never heard of Jesus doesn't neccessarly know or feel the needto ask for this forgiveness.

I have been wanting to do a much better study of this but I have been using my "extra-time" to study Joseph Smith & the LDS.

Rebel Hog I hope to bump the thread you mentioned back to the top after I have addressed a few things I have set my mind to doing.

Or so I've been told. I always thougth it was just because the bosses were mad, but apparently they were just Mormon.
