I read the NIV, NASB, NKJV and RSV. However, I also read the KJV and tend to do my verse memorization in the KJV as well.

I mainly use the NKJV, but I like to compare the versions, I havesome parallelBibles with the Greek, NIV, ASV, KJV, NLT, RSV, NASB, The Message, & ESV. Here lately I am very impressed with the ESV and use it quite often also. I make most of my posts that include scriptures with the ESV.

Reb--I usually stick with the NIV. However, I listed the others that I have referred to on ocassion for comparison purposes.

Hey Reb, what cha think about this? I use the:
JPS, KJV ,NIV,NASB, KJV+, lITV, MKJV, MRC, MSG, WNT, YLT, ALT, ASV ,BBE , CEV, Darby, DRB, EMTV, GB, GW,HNV, ISV, NKJV and the RSV.
Mostley I use the KJV . .and it is always my standard. But all these other versions are good when looking for a loophole.
