We had a big discussion on Benny Hinn last year in another Christian group. Most people either loved him, or thought he was a crook!
I really have mixed feeling about him, I don't like to put God's people down, if he's doing God's work, great, if not, he surely is deceiving many. See how may people come to his rallys!
P.S. I don't watch him on t.v., I tried, but I had a bad feeling about him. Am I being too critical?
I've never watched him on tv either . . .I never watch televangelists, for some reason they just don't do anything for me. As far as Benny Hinn goes , I have read many articles stating that he was a crook. That in itself does'nt prove anything one way or the other tho. I would say that I would'nt walk too far to see him.
I have listened to several radio ministers, mostley because they broadcasted while I was driving to work or for something to do while I was on a crane or other piece of equipment. J V Magee comes to mind.

I have many,many hours logged listening to him. I have his sermonsin my favorites.

Rev in my opinion Benny Hinn has read more into the verses by Paul about becoming all things to all men in order to win them over than he should have. Paul never lied in order to win men over, Benny Hinn on the other hand...........

Bro's Reb, and Leaf, you guys liked J. Vernon Magee because he was originally from Texas, like me. , I still listen to his recorded messages. He was the real deal! There are some that I still listen to on the radio while driving, as I refuse to listen to secular radio, but now days, even on Christian radio a person has to be very selective.
Bro. Mr-, you are right too, from what I've heard from him, he needs to repent! No wonder we have a hard time wining souls for Jesus, when we have those like him, running them away.
When my wife was dying of cancer she was convienced if she went to one of his meetings, she would be healed, she died before he came to town..... It was time for her to go home, God needed her more than I did. I buried her on what would have been our anniversary, Sep 6th 2000.

Rev, I'm originally from Texas myself . .El Paso . .My wife tries not to hold it against me too much.
Not only on Benny Hinn alone, . .but on many of the TV healers, . .I feel that they have done more to spread doubt in the healing power of God than anything else. These folk in general do not represent the true men of God or the church.

Leaf, any state is good, as long as you can find a good church, and place good to hunt and fish. What else would a man want.. This great state has plenty of that. I can be at my lake house in an hour and fifteen minutes, and have to be very careful not to run over the deer... Now that's living!
I was raised in South Texas Mc Mullen County. Lots of everything to hunt there... But my Dad won the olympic gold medal in shooting in 1964, and the gold in the pan american games, he then decided we need to move to the Dallas Ft. Worth area to open a rifle range.. I live just south of Ft. Worth, and really love South Texas, but all my business is here in this area. My lake house is west of here about 80 miles, I spend a lot of time there, even drive that far to work sometimes just to be in the county... Dallas is a communist city... I hate to even drive there. Zavala Co. was about 60 miles from where I was raised. Right, good hunting there, a deer behind evey mesquite tree.
